There are several risk factors associated with acute coronary syndrome disease. These risk factors are divided into risk factors that can be changed and risk factors that cannot be changed. </em>The aim research is <em>Characteristics of patients with acute coronary syndrome based on (1) classification (2) age (3) gender (4) nutritional status (5) history of diabetes mellitus (6) history of hypertension (7) history of smoking habits.</em> <em>This study was conducted on 90 people with acute coronary syndrome who were hospitalized at the Cardiology Department of the Andi Makkasau Parepare Regional Hospital for the period January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2018. This study used a descriptive observational and analytical method with a cross sectional study design using secondary data in the form of medical records of patients with the syndrome. Acute coroners who were hospitalized at the Cardiology Section of the Andi Makkasau Parepare Regional Hospital. Data analysis was processed using SPSS software. This study shows the distribution of acute coronary syndrome patients hospitalized at RSUD Andi Makkasau Parepare from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2018, namely: (1) The highest classification of SKA is APTS (45.6%), (2) Most are in the age group at risk (91.1%), (3) More in men (80%) than women (20%), (4) More nutritional status without risk (56.7%) than nutritional status at risk (43, 3%), (5) There was no history of diabetes mellitus (86.7%) more than there was a history of diabetes mellitus (13.3%), (6) There was more history of hypertension (57.8%) than no history of diabetes mellitus. hypertension (42.2%), (7) In this study, there was no data about the history of smoking habits in medical records as a source of data.&nbsp; Most patients with acute coronary syndrome in APTS, at risk age group, male, no risk nutritional status, no history of diabetes mellitus, and there is a history of hypertension</em></p> Rachmat Ariedrmawan Ilhamjaya Pattelongi Riska Anton Copyright (c) 2023 Rachmat Ariedrmawan, Ilhamjaya Pattelongi, Riska Anton https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2023-01-10 2023-01-10 1 1 01 09 Karakteristik Penderita Epilepsi Di Beberapa Lokasi Di Wilayah Indonesia Periode Tahun 2013 Sampai Dengan Tahun 2020 https://journal.unibos.ac.id/bmj/article/view/1651 <p style="font-weight: 400;"><em>Epilepsy is a chronic cerebral disease that occurs because of the release of excessive electrical charges of the brain so that it can cause loss of consciousness, involuntary movements, abnormal sensory phenomena, an increase in autonomic activity and various physical disorders. Epilepsy can affect anyone based on different age, gender, occupation, educational history, and family history. In epilepsy there is no single cause. Many factors can injure nerve cells including a history of head trauma, a history of febrile seizures. The consequences for people with epilepsy are shame, anxiety, depression, and lack of self-confidence so that the sufferer will withdraw from the environment and affect the quality of life of the sufferer. This study aims to determine the incidence of epilepsy in several regions in Indonesia based on the (1) type of rise, (2) age group, and (3) gender. This study is descriptive cross sectional. Data were obtained from various research articles. The study sample was 790 patients. This study took secondary data from various journals. If the blood flow is blocked, the brain cells (neurons) cannot work properly and if it lasts for more than a few minutes, the brain cells will be ischemic. The purpose of this study was to find out the things that have a relationship with ischemic stroke in patients in several locations in Indonesia for the period 2010 to 2020. The research method used is an analytical study with a literature review from ten scientific research journals using a case control design. The result from ten scientific research journals test founded that there were significant correlation between hypertension (p-value = &lt;0.000) and family history (p-value = &lt;0.000) with ischemic stroke in patients. Then, there was no significant correlation between obesity, diabetes mellitus, heart disease, and smoking on ischemic stroke in patients with p-value &gt; 0.05 in several locations in Indonesia. Data from eight research results analyzed showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status, hypertension, smoking habits, and physical activity (p value &lt; 0.05%) with heart failure in patients in several locations in Asia, America, and Europe in 2001. until 2021. Meanwhile, there is no significant relationship between diabetes mellitus (p value &gt; 0.05%) and heart failure in patients in several locations in Asia, America, and Europe from 2001 to 2021. Purpose to find out things that have a relationship with the occurrence of myopia in medical students in several locations in Indonesia in the period of the 2008 to the 2019.</em><em> The research method is analytical research by synthesizing the results obtained by ten scientific research articles with a case control research design. Data from ten research journals analyzed showed a significant relationship between reading distance and myopia in medical students (p-value &lt; 0.05%), while there was no significant relationship between family history of myopia, reading position, length of reading, lighting, and short distance activities with myopia (p value &gt; 0.05%) in medical faculty students in several locations in Indonesia for the period 2008 to 2019.
