Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan yang dibutuhkan di era abad 21. Kemampuan tersebut harus dimulai sejak anak usia dini, maka sangat penting khususnya bagi guru anak usia dini untuk memberikan berbagai kegiatan untuk dapat mendukung kemampuan kreativitas anak. Studi yang akan dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui keyakinan guru tentang kreativitas anak usia dini. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 44 guru pendidikan anak usia dini yang ada di kabupaten Magelang, Jawa tengah, Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Questionnaire Examining Student Teachers’ Beliefs about Creativity (QESTBC). Hasil dan implikasi dari penelitian ini akan dibahas pada studi ini.
Creativity is an ability that is needed in the 21st century. This ability must start from early childhood, so it is very important, especially for early childhood teachers, to provide various activities to support children's creative abilities. The study that will be carried out aims to determine teachers' beliefs about early childhood creativity. The sample used was 44 early childhood education teachers in Magelang district, Central Java, Indonesia. The instrument used was the Questionnaire Examining Student Teachers' Beliefs about Creativity (QESTBC). The results and implications of this research will be discussed in this study.
