Analisis Bibliometrik Kemampuan Bilingual dalam Penelitian Neurobehavioral

Berbagai penelitian bilingual telah dikaji dan dikembangkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan neurobehavioral. Tantangannya adalah menemukan skema objek pembahasan kajian tersebut agar mudah dipahami dan penelitian baru terus berkembang. Penelitian ini berupaya memetakan tren topik bilingual dalam penelitian behavioral dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai artikel ilmiah dalam rentang sepuluh tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis bibliometrik pada database Scopus. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah bilingual, neurolinguistics, dan psycholinguistics. Jumlah artikel yang dianalisis berjumlah 4.280 data yang berupa jurnal, buku, conference paper, book chapter, review ilmiah, editorial, dan catatan ilmiah lainnya. Terdapat lima tahapan analisis, yakni menentukan kata kunci, pencarian data, pemilihan literatur, melakukan validasi data, dan analisis data. Pencarian data dilakukan pada tanggal 30 September hingga 1 oktober 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Publish or Perish dalam pencarian data dan VOSviewer version 1.6.16 untuk memetakan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kajian kemampuan bilingual dalam penelitian neurobehavioral menghasilkan 21 kluster dengan 125 variabel terkait. Topik paling kuat terkait kemampuan bilingual dan neurobehavior ini adalah languange impairment, memory, dan language control. Meskipun topik yang dibahas saling terpaut satu sama lain, para penelitinya cenderung menunjukkan indepensi dalam meneliti. Hasil analisis biblimetrik ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh peneliti mendatang agar mampu mendalami dan mengembangkan topik kemampuan bilingual dan neurobehavioral lebih mendasar.
