Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan big five personality sebagai prediktor terhadap adaptabilitas karir pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di kota Makassar. Penelitian ini melibatkan 405 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua skala yakni Career Adaptability Scale (Savickas dan Profeli, 2012) dan skala International Personality Item Pools (Goldberg,1981). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: 1) Openness to experience dapat menjadi prediktor terhadap concern, curiosity dan confidence (p<0,05). 2) Tipe kepribadian conscientiousness dapat menjadi prediktor terhadap keseluruhan aspek adaptabilitas karir yakni concern, control, curiosity, dan confidence (p<0,05). 3) Tipe kepribadian aggreableness dapat menjadi prediktor terhadap keseluruhan aspek adaptabilitas karir yakni concern, control, curiosity, dan confidence (p<0,05). 4) Tipe kepribadian extraversion dapat menjadi prediktor terhadap curiosity (p<0.05).
