Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara ekspektasi pernikahan dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada perempuan. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 354 perempuan di Kabupaten Maros yang telah menikah dengan usia pernikahan 3 tahun ke-atas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan dua skala yaitu Marital Expectation Scale dan ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara ekspektasi pernikahan dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada perempuan dengan nilai korelasi (r) sebesar -0.226 dan p = 0.000 (<0.05) yang berarti bahwa kedua variabel memiliki hubungan dengan arah negatif dan signifikan. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi ekspektasi pernikahan pada perempuan, maka semakin rendah kepuasan peernikahan pada perempuan begitupun sebaliknya.
