Psychological Flexibility Sebagai Pengaruh Terjadinya Academic Procrastination Pada Siswa-Siswi SMA dan SMK di Kabupaten Bone

Sebagai seorang siswa, mengerjakan dan mengumpulkan tugas akademik tepat waktu merupakan sebuah kewajiban. Namun yang terjadi sekarang ini justru sebaliknya, dimana tak jarang ditemukan siswa-siswi SMA & SMK masih menunda dalam mengerjakan dan mengumpulkan tugas akademik yang biasa disebut sebagai prokrastinasi akademik. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi dikarenakan beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah rendahnya tingkat psychological flexibility. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh psychological flexibility terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa-siswi SMA & SMK di Kabupaten Bone. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala yang telah dimodifikasi oleh peneliti yakni The Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-II (AAQ-II) untuk mengukur psychological flexibility dan General Procrastination Scale (GPS) untuk mengukur prokrastinasi akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa psychological flexibility mampu mempengaruhi prokrastinasi akademik siswa-siswi SMA & SMK di Kabupaten Bone dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 42% dan memiliki hubungan negatif yang artinya semakin tinggi psychological flexibility maka semakin rendah perilaku prokrastinasi akademik. Demikian juga sebaliknya.
