Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan system informasi manajemen dan Mengetahui dan menganalisis peningkatan kinerja pegawai di Distrik Sorong Barat. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, bertujuan mengungkapkan kejadian atau fakta, keadaan, fenomena, variabel dan keadaan yang terjadi saat penelitian berlangsung dengan menyuguhkan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa System informasi manajemen yang telah di laksanakan oleh Kantor Distrik Sorong barat kurang berjalan baik karena masih terhambat dengan beberapa factor pendukung serta keahlian pengguna atau pegawai masih sangat minim sehingga sangat menghambat pelaksanaan system informasi manajemen demi menunjang kelancaran pelayanan administrasi yang di berikan kepada masyarakat. Dalam melaksanakan system informasi manajemen terdapat beberapa Upaya-upaya yang di lakukan oleh kantor Distrik Sorong Barat untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dalam pelayanan administrasi melalui system informasi manajemen yaitu kordinasi yang aktif antara pimpinan dan bawahan, kedisiplinan waktu di tertibkan.

This research aims to determine and analyze the implementation of management information systems and determine and analyze employee performance improvements in the West Sorong District. The research method uses qualitative with a qualitative descriptive approach, aimed at revealing events or facts, circumstances, phenomena, variables and circumstances that occurred during the research by presenting what actually happened. The results of the research show that the management information system that has been implemented by the West Sorong District Office is not working well because it is still hampered by several supporting factors and the expertise of users or employees is still very minimal so it really hinders the implementation of the management information system in order to support the smooth running of administrative services provided to public. In implementing the management information system, there are several efforts made by the West Sorong District office to improve employee performance in administrative services through a management information system, namely active coordination between leaders and subordinates, time discipline.
