Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang peran Masjid 99 Kubah sebagai medium ibadah dan rekreasi bagi warga Kota Makassar, dengan fokus pada aspek harmoni sosial dan pengembangan kota. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pendekatan kuantitatif berupa nilai atau skor atas jawaban yang diberikan oleh responden terhadap pertanyaan pertanyaan yang ada dalam kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid 99 Kubah Kota Makassar secara simultan memainkan peran yang signifikan sebagai sarana ibadah dan rekreasi, interaksi masjid dengan masyarakat Kota Makassar sangat positif, serta dampak peran masjid dalam fungsi ibadah dan rekreasi terhadap harmoni sosial dan pengembangan kota Makassar sangat signifikan.
This study aims to gain a deeper understanding of the role of the 99 Dome Mosque as a medium of worship and recreation for the citizens of Makassar City, focusing on aspects of social harmony and city development. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative approach in the form of a value or score on the answers given by respondents to the questions in the questionnaire. The data were analyzed by multiple linear regression methods. The results showed that the 99 Dome Mosque of Makassar City simultaneously plays a significant role as a means of worship and recreation, the interaction of mosques with the people of Makassar City is very positive, and the impact of the role of mosques in worship and recreation functions on social harmony and development of the city of Makassar is very significant.
