EKSPLORASI PERSEPSI DAN PENGALAMAN KARYAWAN: STUDI KUALITATIF TENTANG PRAKTIK MANAJEMEN TEMPAT KERJA KONTEMPORER PADA PLN ULP PALOPO KOTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi dan pengalaman karyawan terhadap praktik manajemen di tempat kerja kontemporer pada PLN ULP Palopo Kota. Perkembangan dan adopsi teknologi di tempat kerja yang semakin pesat telah memicu persaingan di mana perusahaan berlomba-lomba untuk menerapkan lingkungan kerja kontemporer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dengan empat informan yang kapabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dampak positif dari implementasi teknologi di PLN ULP Palopo Kota, terlihat jelas dalam peningkatan produktivitas dan pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Teknologi telah membantu mengotomatisasi tugas-tugas administratif, memungkinkan karyawan untuk fokus pada tugas-tugas strategis, serta meningkatkan akurasi data dan pengambilan keputusan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi manajemen yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi spesifik organisasi dapat menghasilkan hasil yang lebih baik. Namun, terdapat pula penghambat dalam implementasi teknologi yang diterapkan, seperti beberapa perangkat yang tidak user-friendly serta keterbatasan jaringan di lokasi-lokasi tertentu yang tidak memungkinkan adanya jaringan seluler. Penerapan teknologi dan praktik manajemen sumber daya manusia di PLN ULP Palopo Kota menunjukkan bagaimana teori kontingensi dapat digunakan untuk mengarahkan adaptasi strategi manajemen terhadap kondisi dan kebutuhan spesifik organisasi. Keberhasilan dalam mengatasi tantangan dan meningkatkan produktivitas mencerminkan penerapan manajemen yang baik dalam organisasi, yang menekankan pentingnya penyesuaian strategi manajemen dengan situasi dan kondisi yang ada untuk mencapai hasil optimal.
This study aims to explore the perceptions and experiences of employees regarding management practices in the contemporary workplace at PLN ULP Palopo City. The rapid development and adoption of technology in the workplace have intensified competition, prompting companies to implement contemporary work environments. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, aiming to understand the phenomena experienced by the subjects. This study employs interviews with four capable informants. The results show a positive impact of technology implementation at PLN ULP Palopo City, evident in increased productivity and achievement of organizational goals. Technology has helped automate administrative tasks, allowing employees to focus on strategic tasks, and enhancing data accuracy and decision-making. This indicates that management strategies tailored to the specific conditions of the organization can yield better outcomes. However, there are also obstacles in the technology implementation, such as some devices not being user-friendly and network limitations in certain locations that do not allow cellular connectivity. The application of technology and human resource management practices at PLN ULP Palopo City demonstrates how contingency theory can be used to guide the adaptation of management strategies to the specific conditions and needs of the organization. Success in overcoming challenges and increasing productivity reflects good management practices within the organization, emphasizing the importance of adjusting management strategies to the existing situations and conditions to achieve optimal results.
